Listening SessionBe among the first in India to hear Bonobos forthcoming album Distance in Static ahead of its global release on September 11 via Ninja Tune.
As part of Bonobos India campaign, Mumbai will host an exclusive album listening session at Idoru, Bandra, offering fans an early experience of his latest musical chapter.
Created across LA, Tokyo, London and beyond, with a significant portion taking shape at Neil Youngs legendary Broken Arrow Ranch, Distance in Static brings together meticulously crafted instrumentation, Iranian samples, guzheng recordings and vocals across English, Urdu and Japanese.
The album features collaborators including Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis and Aanya Martin, with Fire on the Water featuring Arooj Aftab among its defining moments.
This will be a dedicated, front-to-back album listening experience uninterrupted playback in an intimate setting, with no DJ sets or reinterpretations, keeping the focus entirely on the music.
